Snow came late this year

After a week of the Siberian deep-freeze, a lot of this finally came down overnight, turning the world silent ...

and leading to sights in the morning we'd been missing this winter ...

Let me back in, mummy, it's cold outside!

  2. What a delight to wake up to a fresh snowfall on a morning that holds the promise of play, not work!

Your new camera continues to show its possibilities, as it combines with your fabulous eye.

  3. You didn't have snow at the weekend did you?! Only every news bulletin on the hour, every hour, headlined it! Surely snow in England is not as rare an occurrence as was reported on the news - on the hour, every hour..... - is it, Karen?

I do like how snow dulls sound and how pretty everything looks dressed in white. Thankfully it passed us by on this occasion - instead we have been wading through a "pea souper" (heavy fog - thick like pea soup) all day today.
